Refund Policy

This document was drafted to describe how Bacon Vision actually works. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer — especially since real payments are processed through this service. Have counsel review it before relying on it.

1. Purchased credits are generally non-refundable

Credit packs are digital goods that unlock immediate access to paid AI generation. Once a credit pack is purchased, it is generally non-refundable. Credits do not expire while your account is in good standing, so unused credits stay available for future projects.

2. Failed generations are refunded automatically

This is built into the product, not something you have to ask for. Credits are charged when a generation is submitted, and the app refunds them to your balance automatically when the work is not delivered, including when:

every video model in the failover chain fails to produce a clip;
a keyframe or clip errors out, times out, or is rejected by the model provider;
the automated fidelity check determines the delivered image or clip does not match what was requested — in that case the scene is marked failed with a "no charge" message and the credits go back.

You can see refunds reflected in your credit balance on the billing page, and failed scenes show the reason inline in the project.

3. Creative outcome is not grounds for a refund

AI generation is probabilistic. If a generation completes and matches your prompt but you simply do not like the result — the composition, style, pacing, or performance — that is delivered work and credits are not refunded. Use the keyframe preview and refine steps before rendering clips to check direction cheaply; keyframes cost a fraction of a clip.

4. Billing problems

If you were charged incorrectly, charged twice, charged after disabling Auto Top-Off, or a purchase did not add credits to your balance, contact us and we will investigate and issue a refund where a genuine billing error occurred. Include the date, amount, and the email on your account.

5. Auto Top-Off

Auto Top-Off is opt-in and charges your saved payment method for the pack you selected when your balance falls below the threshold. You can turn it off at any time on the billing page, and it stops immediately. Charges made while it was enabled are treated as normal credit purchases under this policy.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback — most issues are resolved quickly. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended under the Terms of Service.
